Obituary

Thomas Wiley Burch, 65, of Neffs, Ohio died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born July 4, 1951 in Bellaire, a son of the late Nina Reynolds Burch.

He was a retired coal miner from North American Coal's # 3 mine and Ohio Valley Coal # 6 mine, a Protestant by faith, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, and member of Neffs Rod & Gun Club.

Tom was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by siblings, Betty Franklin, Jim Burch, and Mary Ann Jackson.

Surviving are his wife, Darlene Myers Burch; five children, Jim (Eula) Corbett of Jacobsburg, Mistye (Mike Storch) Jeffers of Lansing, Carla J. Corbett of Glencoe, Rich (Angie) Corbett of Neffs, and Carla Sue Rojice of Massillon; sister, Cathy Mussard of Shadyside; brother, Bobby Burch of Bellaire; grandchildren, Lance, Kyle, Jessica, Kahley, Morgan, Rebecca, Rusty, Adare, Dave, Cody, Chase, Ryder, and Tristin; great grandchildren, Tegan, Adrianna, Oliver, Gracelynn, Ellie, Alice, David, and Josie.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday at 2 P.M. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating. Burial follows in Warnock Cemetery.

Military honors will be provided by Belmont County Veterans Association Wednesday in the cemetery.
