Thomas Paisley Bradford, 81 of Park Drive, St. Clairsville died Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at the Continuous Care Center of Wheeling Hospital. He was born at Cleveland, OH, November 17, 1921 a son of the late Thomas Nash Bradford and Ruth Paisley Bradford.
Tom was a retired mining engineer for Consolidation Coal Co. He was a graduate of Linsley Institute, Wheeling, Lehigh University and the University of Tulsa in Pipeline Engineering. He was a member of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church at Wheeling where he served as an Elder, a member of Kanawha Lodge A.F.& A.M. at Charleston, a former member of the Fort Henry Club and the Wheeling Country Club and was a World War II veteran having served in the Army Corps of Engineers.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Douglas Bradford.
Surviving are his wife Catherine Rice Bradford; a son Thomas Paisley Bradford, Jr. of St. Clairsville; his sisters, Ruth Mann and Margaret Akers both of Wheeling and grandsons, Thomas Patrick Bradford and Nicholas J. Bradford.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. George Kurtz officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
