Marie Theresa Hicks, 82 of Ramsey Ridge Rd., Jacobsburg died Thursday, June 5, 2003 at Belmont Community Hospital in Bellaire. She was born, July 26, 1920 in Dublin, Ireland. A daughter of the late Bartholomew and Sarah Christina Fitzpatrick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell William Hicks; brothers, John and Gerard Fitzpatrick; sisters, Sarah O?Carroll, Annie Olivant, and Agnes Groves.

Surviving are two sons, Charles R. Hicks of Jacobsburg and Russell B. Hicks of Centerville; a daughter, Dana Scott of St.Clairsville; brother, Kevin Fitzpatrick of Dublin, Ireland; sister, Sue Quinn; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.

Friends received at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Friday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Gary Zalenski officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens at Pleasant Grove.
