Theodore MacArthur "Ted" Call, 73, of Powhatan Point, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015.
He was born in Asco, West Virginia on March 14, 1942, son of the late Alva Call Sr. and Emma Mitchell Call.
Ted was a retired riverboat captain of 40 years. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War; a member of the St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Powhatan Point; a member of Moriah Lodge #105 F. & A.M. and Powhatan American Legion Post #228.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Alva Call Jr., Charles David Call, Arthur Call and Ray Call; and a sister, Martha Ann Saffell.
Surviving are his wife, Pam Parker Call; a daughter, Lila Rochelle Call; two brothers, Albert Call of Newark and Cecil Call of Powhatan Point; and a sister, Letha Mae Penyak of Powhatan Point.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Powhatan Point Ohio on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Father Samuel Saprano the celebrant. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery with Full Military Honors conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
