Terry Lynn "Herk" Trigg, 59 of Armstrongs Mills, Ohio died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at his home.

He was born in Bellaire, a son of H. Eileen "Molly" McGee Trigg and the late William M. "Skip" Trigg.

Terry was a former coal miner, a Methodist, Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Powhatan American Legion Saner Post # 228.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Armstrongs Mills;, are his children, Veronica (Rick) Groves of Woodsfield and Terry Lynn Roth of Dothan, Alabama; two brothers, Barry Lee Trigg and James W. "Jim" (Teresa) Trigg of Armstrongs Mills; grandchildren, Wyatt and Ethan Groves, and Austin Lail.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Friday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michelle Lucarelli officiating. Burial follows in Armstrongs Cemetery.

Military graveside honors will be provided by Powhatan American Legion Saner Post #228.

Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, Powhatan American Legion, or the American Cancer Society.
