Teresa Garczyk, 103, formerly of Maynard, Ohio died Monday, February 2, 2015 in Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home.

She was born in Maynard, Ohio on October 12, 1911, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kowal Klotz.

Teresa was a homemaker and a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard and the Catholic Women's Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Garczyk Sr.; her son, John Joseph Garczyk Jr. and her brothers and sisters.

Teresa is survived by her daughter-in-law, Joanne C. Vicker Garczyk; two grandchildren, Sharon (Timothy) Perko of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Kenneth J. (Emily) Garczyk of Pleasant Grove, Ohio; three great grandchildren, Chelsie (Robert) Perko Bissett, Morgan E. Garczyk and Cameron Garczyk; a great great grandson, Colt Wrangler John Bissett.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
