Sylvan Regoli, 83, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died August 10, 2017 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born October 16, 1933 in Jacobsburg, Ohio, a son of the late Filbert and Blanche Tiber Regoli.

Sylvan was a retired employee of Ormet Corporation. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who had a love for animals. He was a U.S. Army veteran, also served in the Pennsylvania National Guard and he was a member of the American Legion Post in Benwood and was affiliated with Post 159 in St. Clairsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene, Felice and Junior Regoli and a sister, Eleanor Phipps.

Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Margot Dawson Regoli; three sons, Kevin (Trish) Regoli of Pittsburgh, Randy (Holly) Regoli of Columbus and Bruce Regoli of Columbus; two sisters, Gloria Vogt and Evelyn Frey both of Norwalk; and three granddaughters, Angela Regoli Tremmel, Erica Regoli and Sophie Regoli.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Monday at Noon with Rev. Adam Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.

Full military honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veteran's Associaition.
