Leona Ivy "Sue" Strahl, 73 of Flushing, Ohio died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, WV while surrounded by her family.

She was born May 19, 1944 in Lafferty, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph William Kutcher and Amanda Ivy Hartman Kutcher.

She was a member of Harbor of Hope Assembly of God in St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Alton Parker Beal and John William Strahl, Jr.; and a son, Thomas Allen Beal; sister, Mary Ann Korba; brother, Joseph Kutcher.

Surviving are three children, Samuel Beal of Lafferty, Sonya (Barry) Kuhn of Fairpoint, and Alton Todd Beal of Lafferty; two stepchildren, Chuckie Strahl of Lafferty, and Jeffrey (Tina) Strahl of Martins Ferry; brothers and sisters, Clyde Kutcher of St. Clairsville, Tim Hartman of Bethesda, David Hartman of St. Clairsville, Barb Caraway of Martins Ferry, Terri Kutcher of St. Clairsville, Keith Kutcher of Cadiz, and Charlotta Swaboski of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Matthew Kuhn, Samantha Beal, Shelley Beal, and Devon Fulton; her fiancée, Gary Woods of Flushing.

Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dean Myers officiating.
