Stefan Figura, 76, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died May 9, 2024, in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

He was born December 7, 1947, in Lucka, Slovakia, a son of the late Michal and Terezia Duran Figura.

Steve was a retired employee of American Energy Corporation. He served there as the Manager of Maintenance Training where he was in charge of training for the entire enterprise, which covered several thousand employees.

He was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville which he attended every Sunday.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by two brothers, Jozef and Andrej Figura.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Jolanta Hyjek Figura; two daughters, Stephanie (Tanner) Wallace and Monika (Albi) Mema; and a brother, Emil (Veronika) Figura.

Family and friends will be received at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass to begin at 3 p.m., with Father Thomas Chillog the celebrant. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
