Stephen J. Miedel's Obituary
Stephen J. Miedel, 73, of Morristown, Ohio died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital while surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 25, 1942 in Seattle, WA, a son of the late Wilfred R. Miedel and Eleanor Lee Redd Miedel.
Steve was a retired employee of Hanna Coal and Consolidation Coal Companies, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of VFW Post No. 5356 in St. Clairsville.
He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved deer hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Bowen Miedel; two sons, Michael Miedel of Dilles Bottom and Stephen Shane Miedel of Bannock.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, Morristown.
Military graveside honors will be provided by the Belmont County Veteran's Association.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter, 45244 Nat'l Rd. West, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
