Stella Vicker, 91, of Crescent Road, St. Clairsville, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at her home.
She was born in Maynard on June 23, 1913, a daughter of the late Peter Sostock and Caroline Sostock Vetula.
Stella was a loving mother and grandmother, homemaker and member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard, where she was a member of the Catholic Women's Club. She was also a member of the PNA Lodge in Maynard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Michael Vicker, and two brothers, Peter Sostock and Walter Cygan.
Surviving are her daughters, Mary Rose (Joseph) Yudasz of St. Clairsville; Alice (Steve) Rodi of Boyanton Beach, Fla.; Joanne (John) Garczyk of Maynard and Blanche (Dick) Gunn of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren: Butch Yudasz, Janet Cattran, Paula Bigelow, Jim Yudasz, Debi Rodi, Joe Rodi, Carolyn Momper, Kenny Garczyk and Sharon Perko; great grandchildren: Karolyn Porter and Adam Yudasz, Nicole, Derek and Brianne Cattran, Sara, Michael and Zachary Bigelow, Adelyna Yudasz, Stephen Rodi, Eric and Marisa Momper, Chelsie Perko and Morgan and Cameron Garczyk; and a great great grandson, Bailey Porter.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m., with Vigil services at 3 p.m. and PNA Lodge services at 3:15 p.m., and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church, Maynard, with Father Dennis Lyden as celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Maynard Community Volunteer Fire Department or Valley Hospice.
