Starling E. Boston, 77 of Armstrongs Mills, Ohio died Monday, June 7, 2004 at Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire.
He was born at Armstrongs Mills on May 10, 1927 a son of Lela VanDyne Boston and the late Paul Boston.
Starling was a retired employee of Conalco at Hannibal, Ohio, a member of the Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church, the American Legion at Lowell, OH, the Eagles Aerie at Beverly, OH and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his father Paul and a step granddaughter, Stacy Juzwiak.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Stewart Holliday Boston; two sons, Junior (Dee) Boston of Dilles Bottom and Eddie (Zelda) Boston of Beallsville; one daughter, Monica (Rick) DaRe of Morristown; his mother Lela Boston of Armstrongs Mills; stepchildren, Ronald (Linda) Holliday of Proctor, WV; William (Melody) Holliday of Bellaire; Ray Holliday of Georgia; Connie (Greg) Gibbons of Fairview; Marilyn (Darrell) Ramsey of Jacobsburg; Tina (Jim) Steele of Fairview and Christine (Rodney) Schneider of Armstrongs Mills; a sister, Dorothy (Glenn) Goddard of Armstrongs Mills; brothers, his twin Earl (Gladys) Boston of Canton and Burl (Billie) Boston of Massillon; 5 grandchildren, 18 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.
Members of the family will receive friends on Friday from 10 a.m. to time of memorial services at 11 a.m. at the Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Phillips officiating.
