Stanley Maleski, 80 of Lafferty Road, St. Clairsville died Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
He was born at Johnston City, Illinois on March 27, 1925 a son of the late Paul and Mary Zaro Maleski.
Stanley was a retired employee of the Y & O Coal Company at Cadiz and a member of United Mine Workers local #283. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Josephine and brothers Alex and Tony.
Surviving are his wife Lucy Johnson Maleski; 3 sons, Dr. Steve Maleski of Greensboro, NC, Charles Maleski of Dillonvale and Richard Maleski of Bridgeport; 1 daughter Peggy Webb of St. Clairsville; brothers Walter Maleski of Barnesville and Henry Maleski of Newcomerstown; 6 grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Ickes officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
