Cropp, Stanley W., 78 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Forest Hill Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.

He was born at Holloway, Ohio on April 4, 1930 a son of the late Everett and Viola Barth Cropp.

Stanley was a retired machinist with the former Blaw-Knox Corp. of Wheeling, a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church, St. Clairsville, a Lifetime member of the Moundsville Gun Club and was a Navy veteran.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Holt Cropp; daughters, Brenda (Gary) Link of Westerville, OH; Jodie (Gary) Coutts of Lexington, KY; Susan Cropp of Fredericksburg, VA and Allison (Charles) Kreiter of Sunbury, OH; a brother, John Cropp of Sarasota, FL and grandchildren, Ryan and Katie Link.

The family will receive friends at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Saturday from 11 a.m. to time of services at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
