Stanley G. "Farmer" Borovich, 86, of St. Clairsville died April 7, 2019 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

He was born July 6, 1932 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, a son of the late Roman and Mary Moroski Borovich.

Stanley was a farmer, first and foremost and was retired after over 41 years with Saginaw Mining. He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. Farmer was very active in many groups and organizations including: MEMMA; AARP; St. Clairsville Senior Citizens; Ohio Farm Service; Farm Bureau; Past Supervisor of Belmont County Soil and Water; Ohio Mine Land Partnership and Ohio Valley Cattleman's Association.

In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by 8 sisters, Helen Clark, Pauline Kesterson, Sophia Ruble, Mary Trytko, Anna Ball, Frances Beckett, Sheila Hughes, and Wanda Bunting; and 3 brothers, Roman, Henry and John "Waldie" Borovich.

Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Lorena M. Burghy Borovich; three children, Rick (Darbie) Borovich, Becky (John Chase) Williams and Brad Borovich; 5 grandchildren, Melissa Sall, Stephanie Taylor, Jamie Borovich, Steven Williams and Eric Williams; 6 great grandchildren, Autumn, David, Dalton, Weston, Karson and Oliver; two sisters, Mary (Chester) Bumgardner and Jeanne (Jim) Sayre; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 -4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Erica Harley officiating.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
