Obituary

Stacey Butler passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Friday, August 18th at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Stacey grew up in Malvern, OH. She was raised by her mother, Diane Martin and her aunt and uncle, Elaine and Jeff Kidder. She may have technically been an only child, but she forever loved her "brothers" Josh Young, Justin Young, Tim Kidder; and her "sisters" Lisa Kmatz and Aimee Nevins.

She went to the University of Akron where she received a bachelor's degree, but more importantly met her soulmate and love of her life, Ernest Butler. They celebrated 25 years of marriage together and had two amazing children; Sarah and Brock Butler. Her entire life was dedicated to her family, who she loved fiercely and lived every moment to bring happiness to the beautiful family they created.

Stacey was a shining light in the lives of anyone she ever met. She loved big and would do anything for anyone without question. She never met a person or animal she didn't want to save or help. Her compassion and thoughtfulness were unrivaled; she was a superhero.

The laughter, light and joy she brought to this world will be greatly missed by her family, her friends, and anyone that ever met her. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Nina and Rae McLaughlin, and cousins Justin and Tiffany Young.

There will be a Celebration of Life to honor Stacey on Sunday, September 3rd at the Rotary Pavilion in Memorial Park, St. Clairsville from 4-10 pm.
