McKay, Sophia Mary, age 92 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born April 26, 1920 in Stewartsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles Zabitski and Clara Gincher Zabitski.

She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Steubenville, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eli McKay; sisters, Stella Veneri , Anne Rykowski and brothers John and Joseph Zabitski.

Surviving are three sons, Eli J. (Mary Sue) McKay of Pataskala, Ohio, Dr. Michael J. (Michelle) McKay of Powell, Ohio, and Daniel P. (Pamela) McKay of Brodhead, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth McKay, Susan (Troy) Kidd, Madison McKay, Michele (Patrick) O'Connor, Barbara (Louis) Ricks, Pamela (Bill) Berutti, Lorin (Scott) Sylvia, Julie McKay, and Daniel McKay; great grandchildren, Carter and Marshall Berutti, Riley Jane Kidd, Ryder Sylvia, Brody Ricks, Jack and Daniel O'Connor.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday with Rev. Father Rade Merick officiating with burial following at Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Ohio.

A Pomen service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
