ANTOLAK, Sophia Ann Yudasz, 94, of St. Clairsville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at East Ohio Regional Hospital.
Sophia was born December 17, 1916, in Crescent, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph and Valeria Bodzioch Yudasz.
She was a housewife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of the St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville; a member of Maynard PNA Lodge #455.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex J. Antolak; three brothers, John, Joseph and Richard Yudasz; and four sisters, Mary Turkaly, Anna Gazdik, Stella Marma and Frances Antolak.
Surviving are her five children, Alan (Donna) Antolak of St. Clairsville; Jim (Monica) Antolak of Zephyrhills, Fla.; Ed Antolak of St. Clairsville; Diana (Richard) Mazgaj of St. Clairsville and Alex "Paul" (Tammy) Antolak of St. Clairsville; two sisters, Victoria Shipta of Cleveland, Ohio, and Betty Holubeck of St. Clairsville; 11 grandchildren, Travis, Janel (Dustin), Alan, Alana, Alyssa, Tricia (Jamie), David (Melissa), Steven, Michael, Shane and Cole; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews that were very dear to her.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. with a PNA Service at 7:45 p.m. followed by a Rosary Service at 8 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary?s Church in St. Clairsville on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., with Father Thomas Chillog the celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
