Shirley Mae Palmer, 81, of Jacobsburg, Ohio died May 15, 2020 in Rolling Hills Care Center, Bridgeport, Ohio.

She was born November 23, 1938 at Pipe Creek, Ohio, daughter of the late Lawrence and Leota Doty Brown.

Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother and was a Methodist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale W. "Foxy" Palmer; two daughters, Rose Marie Myers and Darla Palmer; and three sisters, Virginia Palmer, Irene Mills and Helen Saffell.

Surviving are her three sons, Dave (Cheryl) Palmer of Grafton, Dennis (Dawn) Palmer of Centerville and Dale Palmer of Jacobsburg; a brother, Lawrence Brown; six grandchildren, Jessica, Diamond, Noah, Stephanie, Paul and Jennifer and several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private visitation and service will be held at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
