Obituary
Shirley Juanita Brown, 80, of Maynard, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Park Health Center, St. Clairsville.
She was born June 16, 1936 in Fairpoint, Ohio, daughter of the late John Thomas Huntsman and Margaret Shores Huntsman.
Shirley was a member of the Buckeye Modulator CB Club and was known by the handle "Sugar Cookie". She also was a member of the Maynard United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald N. Brown Sr. and a sister, Leona F. Shannon.
Surviving are her good friends, Janelle Windsheimer Calhoun of Mt. Pleasant and Jacque Windsheimer of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Lee Huntsman of Belmont, John T. Huntsman Jr. of Florida; a sister, Judith L. Wheeler of Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Maynard United Methodist Church.
