Obituary
Athey, Shirley Ann Catherine Kiefer, Colerain, Ohio died peacefully on April 6, 2013 at Liza's Place Valley Hospice in Wheeling, WV.
She was born in Flint, Michigan on February 5, 1930 to Arnold and Martha Goodreau Kiefer.
She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Athey; daughter, Janice Strode and son-in-law, Mike Strode of San Diego, CA; daughter, Melanie Schaefer of Tampa, FL; son, Donald C. Athey of Columbus, OH; a granddaughter, Angela Cooper of Tampa, FL.
Visitation will be held at Toothman Funeral Home, 141 S. Marietta St., St. Clairsville, Ohio on Tuesday, April 9th from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 10th at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain, Ohio from 9:15 a.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 a.m. with Father Dale Tornes officiating.
Entombment follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
A vigil service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
