Shirley Ann Androsko, 85, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died April 18, 2023, at Trinity West Medical Center in Steubenville.
She was born December 22, 1937, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Russell Hoffman and Opal Garloch Hoffman.
Shirley was a homemaker and had formerly served as matron of the Belmont County Sheriff's Department. She was a member of the Fairpoint Mennonite Church and St. Clairsville Senior Center. Some of Shirley's favorite hobbies were quilting, crocheting, cooking, baking, reading and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed cheering on her OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Browns and spending quality time with her special friend, Joan Henry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Joseph Androsko; a son, Robert "Coach" Androsko; two sisters, Louise West and Eleanor Ruschak; and four brothers, Frank, Rich, Joe and Fred Hoffman.
Shirley is survived by her six children, Debbie Poth, Andrew (Stormmy) Androsko, Bill (Robin) Androsko, Mike (Tracey) Androsko, Lisa (Bob) Castricone, and Melissa Androsko; a sister, Dorothy Palatinus; thirteen grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Connie, Brian, Andrea, Dakota, A. J., Misty Dawn, Zack, Billy, Brandi, Michael, Bobby, and Shaelynn; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and her grand dog, Dolly.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Darrell McVay officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fairpoint Mennonite Church or St. C. Senior Center.
