Sherry Denise Collins Loase, 59, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on June 13, 2024, unexpectedly at her home, after a lifetime battle with diabetes.

She was born on October 30, 1964, in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Ella Johnson Collins of St. Clairsville, Ohio and the late Billy Ray Collins.

Sherry was a 1982 graduate of Union Local High School and a graduate of Belmont Technical College.

In addition to her mother, Ella Collins, she is survived by her sisters, Donna Swallie of St. Clairsville and Melissa (Scott) Garber of Delmar, Delaware; nephew, Brandon (Elyse) Swallie of Loomis, Ohio and niece, Tiffany (Jimmy) Vcelka of Flushing, Ohio; and great nieces and nephews, Peyson, Grayson, Mia, Hadley, Remi, Graham, Lane and Grainger.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. She will be buried in the Collins Family Cemetery in Grainger County, Tennessee. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
