Sharon Kay Brooks Underwood, 49 of Centerville, Ohio died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

She was born July 22, 1960 in Wheelwright, Kentucky, a daughter of Dallas Alden Brooks and the late Yvonne Marie Kyer Brooks.

Sharon was a former Licensed Practical Nurse at Wheeling Hospital and the Barnesville Care Center, and a former EMT for Smith Township Volunteer Fire Dept.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Joey Fulton.

Surviving in addition to her father of Warnock, are her husband, Ralph L. Underwood; children, Stacey (Terry) Cole of Warnock and Kevin Underwood of the home; four sisters and a brother, Deborah Patterson of Belmont, Michael Brooks of Warnock, Sheila Britton of Holloway, Paula Frollini of Shadyside, and Janet Billiter of St. Clairsville; 3 grandchildren, Logan, Conner, and Caleb Cole.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m.

Burial follows in Warnock Cemetery.
