Sharon Ann Kugler Barto, 56, of Flushing, Ohio died at her home on Friday, September 25, 2015.
She was born June 9, 1959 in Dennison, OH, a daughter of the late Grace Denhart Kugler and James Kugler.
Sharon is Survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael "Mike" Barto; a daughter, Ashley Barto of Flushing; a son, Christopher "Mikey" (Kim) Barto of New Athens; two grandchildren, Andy and Megan Barto of New Athens; two brothers, Bobby (Kendra) Kugler and Jimmy Kugler both of New Athens; a sister, Brenda (Tony) Maroni of New Athens; a special niece, Annette Cordner; special friends, Carmella Lynn, Lori Mann, Toni Kovacs and members of Flushing V.F.D.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband Mike were former owners and operators of The Village Restaurant in Flushing. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 366, a social member of the Flushing Volunteer Fire Dept. serving as Kitchen Boss. Cooking and baking were her specialties. She also enjoyed racing and long motorcycle rides with her husband and special buddies.
Family and friends will be received on Monday with visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Pete Tuchek officiating. Burial will follow in Longview Cemetery in New Athens, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Flushing Volunteer Fire Dept.
