Scott Christopher Tennant, 41, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died November 9, 2023, in St. Clairsville.

He was born January 4, 1982, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of Darla Hynes Tennant and James A. Tennant.

Scott was a 2000 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, a graduate of Belmont Technical College with a degree in computer science, and attended Ohio University Eastern. He was currently working with children in a tutoring program for first grade students. A life-long Atlanta Braves fan, Oakland Raiders fan and Ohio State Buckeye fan, he was always cheering them on.

Scott loved his nieces and nephew, he enjoyed spending time with them and his pets, Cal, Bailey and Zoey, and he enjoyed Peloton workouts. His best friend, Greg Bowser Jr. could always be counted on and was always there for Scott through all of life's challenges.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Alice Hynes and Joseph and Naomi Tennant; and two uncles.

In addition to his parents, Darla and Jim Tennant, Scott is survived by a brother, Casey (Alexandra) Tennant; a sister, Emily (Logan) Wojcik; three nieces, Scott's Goddaughter Turner, Alice and Shay; a nephew, Luke; best friend, Greg Bowser Jr.; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
