Sarah B. Smith, 94, formerly of Morristown, Ohio died May 7, 2019 at the Renaissance in Olmsted Township, Ohio.

She was born February 18, 1925 in Bannock, Ohio, a daughter of the late Walter and Martha Major Caldwell.

Sarah was a retired cook from the Union Local School District. She was a member of the Uniontown Presbyterian Church where she was the organist, pianist, and choir director and attended the First New Athens Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Smith; her son, Gary W. Smith; and a sister, Nancy Venardi.

Surviving are her three daughters, Kathy (Richard) Ford of Raleigh, North Carolina, Donna (Tim) Claiborne, and Charlene (Jim) Szaller both of Westlake, Ohio; four grandchildren, Nathan (Aimee) Ford, Sarah (Ari) Driessen , Chelsea (Casey) Luken, and Madie Szaller; two great grandchildren, Clara Ford and Sloane Driessen; and a sister, Charlotte Ritter.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. with Mrs. Maryann Droll officiating.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to a hospice of the donor's choice.
