Sarah Margaret Hinkle, 96 of Willow Grove Road, St. Clairsville died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Forest Hill Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.

She was born at St. Clairsville on May 31, 1909 a daughter of the late Andrew and Clara Belle Finney Hinkle.

Sarah was a retired secretary from the Belmont County Extension Office and was the oldest living member of First Presbyterian Church at St. Clairsville where she was a former Elder, had served as Organist for 50 years and was past president of the Women?s Association.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Harold F. Hinkle in 1988 and an infant brother Morris Hinkle.

She is survived by several cousins and numerous friends.

Friends will be received on Friday from 11 a.m. to time of service at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, St. Clairsville with Pastors William Popa and Homer Harden officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
