Sarah Eileen Briggs, 81 of O.K. Road, Belmont, Ohio died Friday, January 12, 2007 at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling.

She was born April 2, 1925 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Arthur Morris and Estella Heil Morris.

She was a former employee of Sam?s Club in St. Clairsville and Valley Vending at Belmont Technical College. She was also a former employee of Ashland Rubber and National Latex in Ashland, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Briggs, Sr.; a sister, Emily Griffith Kuhn; two half brothers, Jim and Bill.

Surviving are five sons, Floyd Jr. of Belmont, David of Marengo, Ohio, Mick of Ashland, Ohio, Steve of Hobe Sound, Florida and Scott of St. Clairsville; two brothers, Art (Rilla) Morris of Perrysville, Ohio and Tom Morris of Davenport, Florida; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Burial follows in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
