Sara Marie Yock, 73, of Key, OH passed peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Liza's Place of Valley Hospice, Wheeling, WV.  She was born December 5, 1951, in Barnesville, OH, a daughter of Chloe Durbin Foster and the late Charles D. Foster.  She was raised in Centerville.

Sara was retired from the former Ohio Valley Medical Center, Kforce team and was a member of the Centerville Christian Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tom Lucas.

Surviving in addition to her mother Chloe Foster of Centerville; her husband of 53 years, Gary A. Yock of Key; her children, Heather McConnell of Bellaire, OH and Jason Yock of Key; siblings, Charles  Foster of Martins Ferry, OH, Brenda Lucas of Belmont, OH, Mary (Ernest) Grant of Jacobsburg, OH and Betty (Mark) Long of Centerville; five grandchildren, Ryan (Janelle) Robson, Nathan (Kady) Robson, Ashley Robson, Adele Yock and Addison; 10 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  She was very loved and will be greatly missed.

As per her wishes, no visitation or funeral services will be held.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Liza's Place.
