Sandra Kay McCartney, age 57, of St. Clairsville, died Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born June 18, 1946 at Adena, Ohio, daughter of the late David and Gladys Kuegler Applegarth.

She was a former employee at the Belmont Habilitation Center at St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Collins.

Surviving are two sons, Dave McCartney of Belmont and Jim McCartney of Bethesda; and four grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m., with Rev. Dalton Hinds officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
