Sandra Jo Gillespie Hess, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and dear friend to many has fallen asleep in death at the young age of 70. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Eugene Gillespie; husband, Lawrence William Hess; and son, David William Hess. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family: her mother, Ethel Marie Sabo Gillespie; sister, Gina (Bob) Dentz; brother, Joe Gillespie; daughter, Kimberly Jo Hess Niederhuber; son-in-law, Erik Niederhuber; and grandchildren, Tiden Hess, Abigail and Andrew Niederhuber; as well as her many nieces and nephews. Everyone knows to be a part of this loving family is a wonderful gift. She was such a big part of everything that means the most in life. Because of her we have traditions to hold on to and good memories that remind us how she brightened our lives with her love. As a Jehovah's Witness of nearly 50 years, she also strived to make a difference in the lives of others by telling them the good news about God's Kingdom where there will be no more pain, sorrow or death. (Revelation 21:3,4) The Bible's promise of a resurrection truly helped her cope with the loss of her loved ones.(John 5:28,29) And it can comfort us now if we have strong faith in God's promises like she did.
