Ruth Frances Shaw, 94 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at her home.

She was born June 3, 1916 in Bellaire, a daughter of the late Emmet Joseph Boyle and Elizabeth Gertrude O?Neil.

She was a member of St. Mary?s Church in St. Clairsville and attended St. Stanislaus Church in Maynard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Russell Shaw; a brother, Roland James Boyle.

Surviving are her children, Jeannine Smith of St. Clairsville, Thomas James (Bonnie) Shaw of Warnock, and Joyce (Edward) Chambers of St. Clairsville; 12 grandchildren including Diane Campbell of St. Clairsville; 27 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville with Father Bradley Greer the celebrant.

Burial follows in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

A vigil service will be held on Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
