Ruth "Annie" Sammons, 87 of New Philadelphia, Ohio formerly of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at Country Club Nursing Home in Dover, Ohio.
She was born at Wheeling, W.Va. April 6, 1918 a daughter of the late Edward and Anna Furman Sonnenwald.
She was a lifelong homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rossell Junior Sammons; a sister Emma Steadman and brothers Robert and William Sonnenwald.
Surviving are her brother Harold Sonnenwald of Wheeling, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Friday from 11 a.m. to time of services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Wheeling, W.Va.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tuscarawas County Hospice or the Centerville Senior Center.
