Obituary
Rush, Ruth Irene, 94 of Canton, Ohio formerly of Armstrongs Mills died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
She was born April 4, 1918 in Beallsville, a daughter of the late George Darby and Minnie Turner Darby.
Ruth was a retired employee of Aultman Hospital in Canton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Emmett Rush; brothers, Zelmer, Earl, George Jr., Harold, Bill, and Warren Darby; sisters, Hilda Patterson, and Helen Rosene Bundy.
Surviving are three children, Robert (Julia) Rush of Powhatan Point, Jesse Rush of Armstrongs Mills, and Eleanor Jean McCoy of Canton; eight grandchildren, Dan (Kiz) Rush, Deb (Greg) Richardson, Denise (Michael) Mattone, Doug Rush, Joe Rush, Mandy (Donnie) Meadows, Jesse (Peggy) Rush, Jr., B.J. (Chelsea) Rush; eight great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. with Lorna Knight officiating. Burial follows in Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrongs Mills, Ohio.
