HALL, Ruth L., 80, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at home.

She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on Aug. 27, 1930, daughter of the late Warren and Blanche Coulter Higgs.

Ruth was a member of the East Richland Friends Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Clayton W. Rebecca-Hall; four brothers, Charles, Alfred, Ottis and Clarence Higgs; two sisters, Elizabeth Stanek and Etta Phillips.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, H. David Hall; a son, David W. Hall of Barnesville; a daughter, Kim (Bob) Travis of St. Clairsville; a sister, Woneda Roth of St. Clairsville; and five grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wayne Ickes and Jerry Wenger officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
