Ruth L. Sullivan Grooms, 97, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on April 3, 2022, at the Continuous Care Center of Wheeling Hospital.

Ruth was born August 14, 1924, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Patrick and Martha (Ritter) Sullivan. Ruth was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy and retired from Blue Ribbon Paints. She was a member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Martha, and her three husbands, James Grooms, John Braden, and Walter Curtis.

Heartfelt thanks to the team at the Continuous Care Center, especially Cara-Lyn, for all their kindness to Ruth over the last two years, also to the staff of Valley Hospice for their recent care.

In keeping with Ruth's wishes the services and interment were private. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
