Boston, Ruth Holliday, 76 of Armstrongs Mills, Ohio died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Cumberland Pointe, St. Clairsville.
She was born at Denton, KY on February 5, 1932 a daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Young Stewart.
Ruth was a mother and homemaker and a member of the Jacobsburg United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Starling Boston; sisters Helen and Patty and a granddaughter, Stacey Juzwiak.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Holliday of St. Clairsville, William (Melody) Holliday of Bellaire, Ray Holliday of Armstrongs Mills, Connie (Greg) Gibbons of Fairview, Marilyn (Darrell) Ramsey of Jacobsburg, Tina (Jim) Steele of Fairview and Christine (Rodney) Schneider of Armstrongs Mills; stepchildren, Junior (Dee) Boston of Jacobsburg, Eddie (Zelda) Boston of Beallsville and Monica DaRe of Grove City, OH; sisters, Ann, Ruby and Sue; a brother Bob and a half brother Butch; 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Philip Hines officiating. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Smith Township Volunteer Fire Department.
