PAPICH, Rudy, 97 of Stewartsville, Ohio died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.

He was born January 15, 1913 in Stewartsville, a son of the late Samuel and Mary Zatezalo Papich.

Rudy was a retired electrician for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Steubenville, a WWII Army veteran, member of the Barnesville VFW, Weyer Lodge # 541 F&AM in Centerville, and Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Mealy, Eli, Mike, George, Nick, Danny, and Samuel Papich; two sisters, Sophie Papich, and Draga Munas.

Surviving are a niece, Marilyn Reardon; nephew, Daniel Papich; best friend, Don Barnes.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Joe Blon officiating.

Burial will follow in Glencoe Cemetery.

Weyer Lodge will conduct Masonic services at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
