Chini, Rosie L., age 88, of Lawrence, Pennsylvania, formerly of Lafferty, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Manor Care in McMurray, Pennsylvania.

She was born January 14, 1920 in Holloway, Ohio, daughter of the late Luther Eugene Bowman and Leone Hemphill Bowman.

Rosie was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Chini in 1999; and two sisters, Josephine Bowman and Eunice Kent.

Surviving are her daughter, Barbara "Joni" Sustrik and her husband, Bob of Lawrence, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Susie Murphy of Lewisville, Ohio, Luginger Slagle of Crown City, Ohio and Ruth Cramblett of Canton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Denise Yoho, Roberta Clutter and Robin Durila; and seven great grandchildren, Tiffany, Natalie, Mallory, Jacob, Emily, Naomi and Trenton.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Jack McKimmie officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
