Parish, Rosene Celia, 91 formerly of New Athens, Ohio and a current resident of the Harrison County Home in Cadiz died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville.
She was born September 15, 1918 in Beallsville, a daughter of the late Isaac McCoy and Celia Parks McCoy VanDyne.
Rosene was a retired employee of Hanna Coal at Georgetown, a member of the New Athens Presbyterian Church, a member of the SNPJ Lodge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Parish in 1983; a brother, Luther McCoy; sisters, Myrta McCoy and Hazel Smith; a son-in-law, Charles Cirincione.
Surviving are a son, Francis (Kathy) Parish of New Athens; three daughters, JoAnne Cirincione of Cleveland, Charlene (Keith) Sexton of Gahanna, and Betty Lou Parish of New Athens; sister-in-law, Josephine (Don) Hanes of Tampa, FL; 7 grandchildren, Gena (Jeff) Richard, Kurt (Michele) Sexton, Yvette (John) Petroval, Brian (Amanda) Miller, Lori (Patrick) Kovacs, Ross & Joseph Cirincione; 10 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Karl Henry officiating.
Burial follows in Longview Cemetery, New Athens.
