Rosemary VanDyne Cook Schultz, 97 of Frostproof, Florida died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at her home.
She was born February 15, 1918 in Monroe County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Martha Rothacher.
Rosemary was a 1936 graduate of Bridgeport High School and worked as a cook in several St. Clairsville, Ohio restaurants during the 50's and 60's. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Frostproof.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Albert (Bud) VanDyne, Sr., Robert (Bob) Cook, and Wilbur (Bud) Schultz; a daughter, Ruth H. Johnson; a granddaughter, Kelly Johnson; a grandson, David VanDyne; two sisters, Ruth Soles and Dolores Horner.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon (James) Lawrence and Mary Martha Fulton both of Frostproof, Florida; three sons, Albert (Bud) VanDyne, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, David VanDyne of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Wilbur (Willie) VanDyne of Frostproof, Florida; special daughters-in-law, Treva Spehar of St. Clairsville, and Beverly VanDyne of Texas; special niece, Karen Lucas; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grand children; two great great grandchildren; two stepsons, John Cook of Alabama and Rich (Amy) Schultz; three step daughters, Sherrie (Millard) Chandler, Linda Hardin of New Paris, Ohio, and Bettie (Gerald) Erickson of Beaumont, California.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with Minister Brad Schrum officiating.
Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
