Rosemarie Ann Stando, 94, of Fairpoint, Ohio, died November 14, 2024, at home.

She was born December 25, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Steve Solar and Mary Demuth Solar Sylagji.

Rosemarie was a retired employee of JC Penney in St. Clairsville. She was a member of the former St. Joseph's Catholic Church and current St. Mary's Church in St. Clairsville and a member of the Fairpoint Polish Club. Rosemarie was an avid bowler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward John Stando and a brother, Robert Solar.

Rosemarie is survived by her three children, Kathleen (John) Tornes, Sharon (Mike) Gorsuch, and Edward John (Sharon) Stando; a brother, Steve Solar; five grandchildren, Amanda Watson, Stacy Carter, Carey Bosse, Cole Gorsuch, and Jamie Mahoney; and seven great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. A private memorial graveside service will be held in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
