Rosemarie Fatula, 73, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
She was born August 28, 1950, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Fodor Sr. and Rose Marie Bachie Fodor.
Rosemarie was a retired employee of Sam's Club in St. Clairsville where she was an active fundraising coordinator for the Children's Miracle Network and she was a former employee and safety coordinator for the former Best Products in St. Clairsville. She was forever an advocate and volunteer to support children.
Rosemarie was a 1968 Bridgeport High School graduate and later helped plan class reunions. Some of her favorite things were crafts, she loved polka dancing, cooking and baking, and was known for her nut rolls and baked beans. But most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Fodor Jr.
Rosemarie is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Roy Fatula; a daughter, Michelle Fatula Sabo; a grandson, Asa Sabo; two sisters, Susan (John) Henthorne and Peggy (Bob) Haglock; a brother, Steve "Bubba" (Susan) Fodor; a sister-in-law, Helen Fodor; nieces and nephews; and her favorite dogs, Bentley and Beau.
Honoring Rosemarie's wishes there will be no visitation. There will be a Celebration of Life held at the St. Clairsville Rotary Shelter in St. Clairsville Memorial Park on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
