Obituary
WRIGHT, Rose E., 82, of St. Clairsville, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Forest Hill Nursing Home.
She was born in Bellaire, Ohio, on September 28, 1929, daughter of the late Kuzma and Anna Myers Shopper.
She was a retired employee from the Kroger Company in Bellaire; a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church; and a former volunteer at Shadyside Care Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Wright; three brothers, Edward, Joseph and Glenn Shopper; and four sisters, Lucy Goff, Mary Robson, Tracel Shindledecker and Ruth Riggs.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan (William) Dodds of Sparta, Ohio; three grandchildren, William (Kelly) Dodds, Vanessa (Dave) Gann and Jason Dodds; six great grandchildren, Caleb, Luke, Ruth, Megan, Hannah and Austin; and dear friend, Clyde Hochstrasser.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Laurie Armstrong officiating.
Private burial will be in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church.
