Vesta "Rose" Elerick Roth, 81 of Powhatan Point, Ohio died Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire. She was born June 15, 1922 at Paden City, West Virginia, daughter of the late James D. Cordery and Clara Belle Duvall Cordery.

Rose was a retired employee from Union Carbide Corporation at Cleveland, Ohio.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Bremenkamp; a great granddaughter, Shelby Rose Seita; a brother Walter Cordery and two sisters, Betty Famo and Daisy Gavlik.

Surviving are two sons, Gary Elerick and his wife Virginia of Brunswick, OH and David Elerick and his wife Darlene of Powhatan Point, OH; a daughter, Rita Bremenkamp and her husband Bob of Midvale, OH; a sister, Doris Flor of New Martinsville, WV; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at the Powhatan Cemetery Chapel, Powhatan Point, Ohio with Rev. Donald Cordery officiating. Arrangements by Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, OH.
