Rose Mary Long, 84 of St. Clairsville, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from Liza?s Place in Wheeling.

She was born May 16, 1925 in Bellaire, a daughter of the late John Ernest Shaver and Alta Rose Greenwood Shaver.

Rose was a homemaker and member of the South Bellaire United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James William Long on February 4, 1994; bothers, Dale, Fred, Paul, David Shaver and Anthony Boyle; sisters, Agnes Addison and Betty Major.

Surviving are three daughters, Suzanne (Michael St. James) Geiser of Barnesville, Jamie (Clifford) Redman and Joanne (Vernon) Fabry both of St. Clairsville; a son, Todd (Lori) Long of Avon Lake, Ohio; sisters, Rita Planey of Stewartsville, Beverly (Pete) Christakis of St. Clairsville; brothers, Homer Shaver of Baltimore, MD., Charles Shaver of Landers, CA; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Long of Bellaire; eight grandchildren, Dana (Michael) Jones, Alison (Anthony) Jordan, Bethany Peters, Megan (Bobby) Stoner, Zachary Redman, Joshua Redman, Kyle Long, and Kaitlin Long; eight great grandchildren, Hannah, Aaron, and Jacob Jordan, Kalleigh and Austin Stoner, Mikayla and Emily Jones, Mason Long.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from Noon until 8 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Hoff officiating.

Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
