Ronald Henry Swisk, 80, of St. Clairsville, OH., passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born January 22, 1944 in Denver, CO., a son of the late Henry J. and Helen R. Richter Swisk.

Ron was retired from International Harvester, Springfield Plant and served as U.A.W. Union Representative.  He was a member of First Christian Church, Beallsville, OH., and enjoyed fishing, travelling and especially quality time with his beloved grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Swisk.

Surviving are his wife, Carol A. Cummins Swisk of St. Clairsville; his children, R. Steve Swisk of Maynard, OH., Amy (Dennis Dalpiaz) Baker of Lafferty, OH., Charlotte J. (David) Singleton of Barnesville, OH., Ann M. Swisk of St. Clairsville and Misty D. Swisk of Wheeling, WV; siblings, Jane (Roger) Snyder of Hannible, OH., Barbara Swisk of Sarasota, FL., and James (Sharon) Swisk of Lansing, MI; two granddaughters, Taylor (Justin) Bolt, Hannah (Matt) Greenwood; two grandsons, Tristan Hartman, Ethan Baker; four great grandchildren, Arya, Ares, Auden Bolt and Forrest Hartman; and his favorite dog, Jawba.

As per his wishes, no services are planned.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
