Ronald Robert Pitner, Jr., 66, of Dillonvale, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital at Weirton Medical Center.  He was born January 7,  1959 in Barnesville, Ohio, a son of the late Ronald Robert and Nancy Jane Gaines Pitner, Sr.

Ron was a welder with IMI FABI in Benwood, West Virginia, a member of Operators Local 132.  He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.  Ron enjoyed fishing and his boat on Seneca Lake, working on and restoring old automobiles and mowers…but most of all, he was a Die Hard Cleveland Browns Fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Heather Wesley.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Beth (Chuckery) Pitner of Dillonvale; his children, Jesse (Brittany Marconi) Pitner of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Audrey (Jack) Bolin of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Justin Pitner of Brilliant, Ohio and Ryan Pitner of Steubenville, Ohio; one sister, Christine (Danny) Whitehair of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Brice Pitner, Lenore Jeffers, Lindzi Adams, Azreal and Claira Belle Bolin, Bryson Pitner and Ava Pitner; a nephew, Cody Wesley.

As per his wishes, no visitation or services are planned.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
