Ronald J. Morgan, age 78, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, West Virginia.

He was born November 27, 1940 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late Clifford Joseph Morgan and Barbara Ann Donkin Morgan.

Ron retired after 30 years as a Trust Officer from WesBanco. He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville. He enjoyed attending St. Clairsville sporting events and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and taking nature walks on the local trails.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Morgan; his companion, Joyce Telfer and a nephew, Leslie Woodruff.

Surviving are his son, Ronald J. (Carol) Morgan, Jr. of St. Clairsville; a daughter, Jody L. (Greg) Helton of Lewis Center, Ohio; five grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren and Jared Morgan, Ethan and Ella Helton; a brother, Tom (Melissa) Morgan of New Braunfels, Texas; a sister, Barbara Power of Rockville, Maryland; and two nieces, Melissa Menacher and Anna Bjerke.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m., with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Private burial will be in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
